Go on a mission trip to India with Royal Servants. Make an impact. Meet ministry heroes. Experience one of the largest cities in the world. Share Christ with the children of rural villages.

Quick Facts

Students:   June 26 to July 31, 2010 [5 weeks]
Staff Disciplers:   June 19 to July 31, 2010 [6 weeks]

The India mission trip with Royal Servants will take you halfway around the globe.  You will go to one of the spiritually darkest parts of the world.  You will reach out to people in the slums, love on kids in orphanages, and impact others through Bible clubs in rural villages.  You are required to raise $3,995 plus your spending money.

The Heart of Your Ministry…

You will work with your team in and around the capital city of India, New Delhi, as well as orphanages and schools in surrounding rural villages.  You will work with Indian leaders who reach out to Muslims, Hindus, and other unreached people.  You will fan out and cover the city in prayer, work alongside other Christian organizations in the slums, and experience an area of the world where God is doing extraordinary things. There are places in India where thousands are being baptized weekly and God’s spirit is being poured out.

India is a country of endless temples.  You are going to experience the nausea of blatant idolatry, smell the incense, see the idols, and sadly watch worshippers bow down in front of alters.  You may feel your heart cry out to Christ and intercede on their behalf.

Adventure…

You will explore one of the oldest civilizations on earth, which is now a melting pot of cultures, religions, and castes, combining ancient and new, modern and old.  You will traverse the beautiful Indian countryside, experience the unique local cuisine, and star in an upcoming Bollywood film (OK, maybe not that last one).

You will visit temples and landmarks that are thousands of years old.  Barter in the markets of New Delhi–the central trading post of India since the medieval times–and buy regional goods, jewelry, hand-made bags, and other great finds.

New Friends…

On the India mission trip you are going to take the Word of God into the territory of the enemy!  You will see with your own eyes that he is alive and well in India.  The friendships that you make in the midst of the battle will be deep, intense, and authentic.  Your friends on the trip will be a source of encouragement, affirmation, and strength.

God will use your team members to help you understand how much He loves you and to move you closer to Him in true worship.  You will go home at the end of the summer with a new understanding of the power of a quality relationship.

Spiritual Transformation…

There are some mission trips that spiritually challenge students more than others.  India is one of those trips.  With all of the idol worship, India is a stronghold of the enemy, and you will feel it when you arrive.

On all of our mission trips your spiritual growth is a priority.  When you immerse yourself in the Bible during your quiet times, share in your discipleship groups, memorize scripture, pray together, and worship together on a daily basis, you’ll grow!  That transformation will come full-circle as you share your faith, giving away to others what God is giving to you!

know-Travis-Stephenie-Carr

Hi my name is Travis Carr.

I like:  smelling fresh cut grass and obnoxious campfire songs
I love:  pizza for every meal, experiencing other cultures, and seeing God do unexpected things…as well as chimpanzees, miniature horses, and laughing until I can’t breathe.
I’m addicted to: books about history, seeking God’s truth, my daughter Jovie’s laugh and Coke Zero.
People say:  I am a phenomenal (perhaps the best of all time) wedding dancer, I make up phrases and words, and I am a bit random.

Hi my name is Stephenie Carr.  This will be my 11th summer with Royal Servants.

I like: Cherry Cola, Chai tea and Tropical Mike and Ikes.
I love: Disneyland, surprises, a windy day at the beach.
I’m addicted to: Helping the hurting and needy around the world, kissing my daughter Jovie, and starting (but not necessarily finishing) creative projects.
People say: I talk fast, I’m stubborn (I prefer strong willed) and I laugh at my own jokes–I’m my best audience.
