Each summer Royal Servants takes hundreds of students on missions trips around the world. In 2010, we will be leading mission trips to Africa (Sierra Leone), China, Costa Rica, India, Ireland, Nepal, or across Western Europe. If you play soccer you can use your sports skills on your mission trip. Our youth mission trips last from five to 8 weeks, so you do more than just take a trip, you begin a journey where you encounter the culture and speak with people face to face.
On our mission trips you will be exposed to the world’s burning need for a savior, be equipped to help meet that need, and sent home to be actively involved in ministry. Royal Servants youth mission trips uniquely emphasize discipleship and evangelism. Time is set aside each day for extensive teaching, quiet-time, and the development of your relationship with Christ. You will be taught and trained to be a disciple of Jesus. Along with your team leader you will follow the biblical model of discipleship training as shown in the New Testament. The environment created each summer is one where the Holy Spirit can radically transform each student’s life.
On our short term mission trips you will be involved in relational ministry with people on the streets. We concentrate on teaching you how to communicate your faith. Each outreach spends significant time in strategic evangelism. You will be given opportunity after opportunity to share your faith as we minister alongside local missionaries, pastors, and indigenous church members.
To go on short term mission trips with Royal Servants, you need to be at least 13 years old or have graduated 7th grade. If you are 19 or older, you can join one of our outreach teams and serve as a discipleship group leader-helping students to apply what they learn and grow in their relationship with Christ.
